He is the coauthor of Koreaworld: A Cookbook, nominated for the 2025 James Beard and IACP Awards; Koreatown: A Cookbook, a New York Times bestseller; and Food IQ, a Publishers Weekly bestseller and winner of a 2023 IACP Cookbook Award. He’s the founding editor of online food and culture magazine TASTE, winner of three James Beard Awards.
