Now that Cal Patch—crafty teacher and author of Design-It-Yourself Clothes—has moved out of the Big Apple to fulfill her lifelong dream of being a crafty farmer upstate, she visits the city monthly to teach classes, buy fabric, meet with freelance clients, see friends and squeeze in a little cultural inspiration.
