One trend they all showed on the runway this season is crocheted lace, popularizing the boudoir style in a flattering and truly sexy way. Like these fashion titans, crochet expert Doris Chan has also fallen under the elegant spell of crocheted lace, which led her to write CROCHET LACE INNOVATIONS: 20 Dazzling Designs in Broomstick, Hairpin, Tunisian, and Exploded Lace (Potter Craft, April 13, 2010). Doris took many traditional crochet techniques and modernized them, so her use of Broomstick, Hairpin, and Tunisian lace in her designs is unlike like anything seen before in the crochet world.
